Mauritius bus fares (ticket prices) – how fare payable is calculated? You have to know number of stages you traveled, and then use a table below (warning: table shows old bus fares!).

Stage 1: from Rs 12 to Rs 17
Stage 2: from Rs 18 to Rs 24
Stage 3 and 4: from Rs 24 to Rs 30
Stage 5 and 6: from Rs 27 to Rs 35
Stage 7-8: from Rs 30 to Rs 39
Stage 9-12: from Rs 31 to Rs 41
Stage 13-30: from Rs 34 to 44
Stage 31-39: from Rs 37 to Rs 47

We will give an example: if you board at fare stage 3 and you alight at fare stage 7, number of stages travel is 4. If you are an adult person, you pay 14.00 Rs. If you are a student, you pay 9.00 Rs. If you are a child, you pay 8.00 Rs.
